I started this project as one of the two Product designers for Light Inc., the company that made this product. The designs and user flows of this app is still being maintained by me.

A research was carried out on some students on campus and people were asked to list out some problems which they faced on campus when going about some activities regarding their academic and social life as a student of the school.

Students faced the recurring problems:
There were quite some problems that students at Babcock University faced among which were poor dissemination of information, where news was to them late or not at all,
There was also the issue of tickets running out because they were being sold physically,
and cluttered days which the task feature on the BUSA app aims to solve.

Several months after the app was deployed, I was tasked with redesigning the app in addition to designing a new feature to deploy for our next version. The screens for the redesign came out as follows:

Since the BUSA App's launch, we've experienced significant growth considering we've been running for about a year now. We've been able to acquire more than 3000 users and received a certificate of recognition in service to the school.
The product will continue to run even after graduating from the school, and will hopefully grow larger and better moving forward.
My experience on working with this project from conception to deployment has given me valuable knowledge like how to work proactively with a team, and also that every person has a part to play to make something go forward, no matter how small or how insignificant the role may seem.
